Senior Consultant/Lead Consultant

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is a government agency responsible for disaster management in India. The agency was established in 2005 in response to the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami.

Contractual

The NDMA is inviting applications for the positions of Senior Consultant and Lead Consultant on a contract basis.

Position	No. of Vacancies	Salary
Senior Consultant	1	Rs. 1,25,000 - 1,75,000/- per month
Lead Consultant	1	Rs. 2,00,000 - 2,50,000/- per month

Eligibility Requirement:

1. Lead Consultant: Master's Degree in Disaster Management, Civil Engineering, Economics, Architecture, Social Sciences, Geo-informatics, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Public Administration and Development Planning or a related discipline.
2. Senior Consultant (Technical Expert- Recovery Programmes- Structural): Master's degree in Disaster Management/Architecture or Civil Engineering or Master's degree in Urban Planning/Housing/Rural Planning with a bachelor's in Architecture/Civil Engineering.
3. Senior Consultant (Technical Expert- Research Knowledge Management, Training and Capacity Building): Master's Degree in Disaster Management, Economics, Public Policy, Livelihood, Rural Development, or Social Entrepreneurship.

Age Limit: 62 years for all positions (50 years for retired government servants)

Experience: 

Lead Consultant: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification work experience in disaster risk management.

Senior Consultant: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification work experience in disaster risk management
