Job Description

West Central Railway (WCR) invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Act Apprentices for training in various trades and units. Eligibilty Details

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology & Radiology), candidates need to have passed the 12th class examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and possess the National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Experience:

No prior experience is required.

Important Condition

  • Candidates should ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before applying.
  • The application fee is Rs. 141/- (Rs. 100/- as Application Fee and Rs. 41/- as Processing Fee) for all candidates except SC/ST, PwBD, and women candidates who are required to pay Rs. 41/- as a processing fee.
  • Candidates need to upload scanned copies of required documents, including a recent passport-size photograph and signature, 10th and 12th mark sheets, caste certificates (if applicable), and ITI certificates.
  • No hostel accommodation will be provided.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.

Mode of Selection

The selection process will be based on a merit list prepared using the average marks obtained in the 10th class examination or its equivalent and ITI/Trade marks.
