The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. NBEMS is responsible for conducting high-standard Post-Graduate Examinations in Modern Medicine and allied specialties at the National Level.

Eligibility:
Officers/Officials of the Central Govt. / State Govt. / PSU / Autonomous Bodies / Statutory Bodies / Universities / Medical Colleges / Institutes recognized by Central or State Governments.
Period of Deputation:
Ordinarily 5 years (including any previous deputation period). Extendable up to 7 years based on specific terms and conditions.
