Eligibility Details
Eligibility criteria vary significantly by post level and recruitment mode (Direct/Deputation). All candidates must satisfy UGC Regulations, 2018, as amended.
General Requirements for Direct Recruitment (Indicative Summary):
- Professor (All Disciplines): Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in relevant discipline, significant published work, and 10 years of teaching/research experience (including 5 years as Associate Professor equivalent for direct entry). Age Limit: 50 years.
- Associate Professor (All Disciplines): PhD in relevant discipline, qualified in NET, and 8 years of experience in teaching/research at the level of Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Level-10). Age Limit: 45 years.
- Assistant Professor (Aviation Science/Engineering & Tech): Master's Degree with 55% marks in a relevant discipline, qualified in NET/SLET/SET (PhD holders from specific periods/institutions may be exempted from NET). Age Limit: 40 years.
- Assistant Professor (Management): Master's Degree/PG Diploma in Management or relevant discipline with 55% marks, plus teaching/research/industry experience, and two published/presented papers. Age Limit: 40 years.
Note for Industry Professionals: Specific alternative essential requirements based on significant professional experience are provided for Professors and Associate Professors from industry.
Age limit for deputation (all posts): Shall not exceed fifty-eight years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Important Conditions
- The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all advertised posts without assigning reasons.
- The number of positions advertised is tentative and subject to increase or decrease.
- Reservation policies for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS shall be applied as per extant UGC/Govt. of India norms.
- Time taken to acquire M.Phil. or Ph.D. degree shall not be considered as teaching/research experience.
- For deputation, the period ordinarily shall not exceed five years.
- Application processing fees are non-refundable.
- Candidates applying through the proper channel must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Vigilance Clearance certificate from the employer, preferably 10 days before the interview date.
- Selections will primarily be based on performance in the interview, though an Academic Score may be used for shortlisting.
