Eligibility Details
Eligibility criteria are subject to UGC Regulations, 2018.
Associate Professor (Sarva Darshan) - Level 13-A:
- A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- A Master's Degree in Sanskrit medium with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Minimum of eight years of teaching and/or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor, with a minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75.
- Ability to teach in Sanskrit.
Assistant Professor (Dharmashastra) - Level 10 (PwBD-OBD):
- Master's degree with 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or equivalent, in Sanskrit medium.
- Must have cleared NET (UGC Code-73 and 25) or CSIR/SLET/SET, unless awarded a Ph.D. Degree as per UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016.
- Ability to teach in Sanskrit.
Assistant Professor (Education) - Level 10 (UR):
- Ph.D in Education/NET in Education.
- Post-Graduation Degree in Education (Shiksha-Acharya/M.Ed/MA Education) with minimum 55% marks.
- Post-Graduation Degree in discipline relevant to the area of specialization (M.A. Philosophy or Acharya in Darshan) with minimum 55% marks.
- B.Ed Degree with minimum 55% marks.
- Ability to teach in Sanskrit medium.
Librarian - Level 14:
- Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
- At least 10 years of experience as a Librarian at any level in a University Library or ten years of teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years' experience as a College Librarian.
- Evidence of innovative Library services, including ICT integration.
- A Ph.D. Degree in library science/ Information Science/ documentation/ archives and manuscript keeping.
- Age limit for direct recruits: Preferably below 57 years.
