Eligibility Details
The applicant must be an Officer of the Central Government or the State Government or Union Territories eligible to apply for deputation. Eligibility criteria are:
- Service Requirement (Choose one):
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
- Having 5 (five) years regular service after appointment on a regular basis in posts in Level-10 (Rs.56,100-177,500) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.
- Educational Qualifications & Experience (Essential):
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized University or Institute.
- Five years' experience in enforcement of regulatory laws and collection of intelligence relating thereto.
- Desirable Experience: One year of experience in investigation and supervision in any of the following fields:
- Drug related offences or Enforcement of criminal laws;
- Financial investigation;
- Money laundering;
- Economic Frauds or Offences.
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit shall not be exceeding fifty-six years on the closing date of receipt of application.

- Revised Bio-data/C.V. proforma (in original, format attached).
- Supporting certificate/documents in respect of claimed educational qualification (duly attested).
- Photo copies of APARs for the last five years duly attested (with stamp) by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India or equivalent (including GAP Sheet/NIC/NRC, or undertaking if NRC is not issued).
- Integrity Certificate.
- Vigilance Clearance certificate as per proforma.
- Major/minor penalty statement for the last 10 years.
- Cadre clearance incorporating that he/she will be relieved to join the post on deputation basis if selected.
Important Conditions
- The terms and conditions of deputation are governed by DoPT's OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended.
- Departmental Officers in the feeder grade who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation consideration.
- Once selected, candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature.
- If an officer fails to join the post after selection, he/she will be debarred from future deputation in NCB.
