Eligibility Details
Candidates must satisfy the minimum requirements specified below for the respective positions:
Professor:
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field with First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s and Master’s degree level.
- Minimum of ten years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
- Minimum of ten research publications in SCIE/SSCI/AHCI/ABDC indexed journals and a total research score of 120 as per criteria in Table-IV.
Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field with First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s and Master’s degree level.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor.
- Minimum of seven publications in SCIE/SSCI/AHCI/ABDC indexed journals and a total research score of 75 as per criteria in Table-IV.
Assistant Professor (Engineering, Design):
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field with First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s and Master’s degree level in the appropriate branch. (Academic score from Table-III considered for shortlisting).
Assistant Professor (Sciences, Humanities, Arts):
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field with First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s and Master’s degree level in the appropriate branch.
- Must have qualified NET/SLET/SET.
