    Eligibility Details

    Educational Qualification

    • A mandatory Ph.D. Degree is required.
    • Must currently hold the position of Professor/Associate Professor with a minimum of fifteen years of total teaching/research/administration experience in recognized Universities, Colleges, or other institutions of higher education.
    • A minimum of 10 research publications in UGC CARE List or SCOPUS peer-reviewed journals is necessary.
    • Applicants must achieve a minimum Research Score of 110, calculated as per Section I of the UGC Regulations screening criteria.

    Age Limit

    • Candidates must be under 60 years of age as of the closing date, 25th March 2026.
    • The appointment duration is 5 years, which can be extended for another 5 years based on satisfactory performance reviews.

    Mandatory Requirements & Screening

    • Submission of a Vigilance Clearance Certificate from the parent department/organization during the application process is essential.
    • Applicants must provide concrete evidence supporting their claims regarding publications, research projects (sanction/completion letters), patents, and ICT initiatives.
    • Selection heavily relies on the calculation of an Academic/Research Score covering publications, projects, guidance, and pedagogical innovation.
