    Details of Position

    NIOS is seeking candidates for the following Group 'A' positions:

    Eligibility Details

    Educational Qualification

    • Essential: At least second-class Master’s Degree with 55% marks or B+ grade.
    • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of regular service in Level-11 (₹67700-208700) OR 5 years of regular service in Level-12 (₹78800-209200) in relevant fields such as examination conduct, educational material production, or educational administration.
    • Other Requirements: Must possess working knowledge of Hindi/English and experience organizing seminars/conferences.
    • Desirable: Doctorate Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Management/Education, or experience in Open Learning/Distance Education systems.

    Age Limit

    • The age limit is preferably below 52 years as of the closing date.
    • Age relaxation is admissible as per Government of India rules (maximum age up to 56 years after relaxation).
    • Age limit exemption is applicable for existing NIOS employees.

    Application Details

    Application Fee:

    • UR & OBC Category: ₹1500/- plus ₹50/- processing fee.
    • EWS, SC & ST Category: ₹750/- plus ₹50/- processing fee.
    • PwD candidates (40%+ disability) are exempted from the fee upon submission of a certificate.

    Application Method: Online submission followed by mandatory hard copy dispatch.

    Application Deadline: The online application window closes 30 days from the advertisement publication date in Employment News. The hard copy must reach the designated address within 7 days of the online submission date.

    Important Conditions

    Mode of Selection

    The selection process involves the following stages:
