    Eligibility Details

    Educational Qualification & Experience

    Essential Qualifications:

    • Education: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from an institution recognized by a University.
    • Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience working in a library setting under the Central or State Government, an Autonomous or Statutory organization, a Public Sector Undertaking, a recognized University, or a recognized Research/Educational Institution.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science.
    • Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institute.

    Age Limit & Relaxation

    • Maximum Age: 56 Years, calculated as of the closing date for application receipt.

    Mandatory Requirements

    • The position is classified as Gazetted (Group-B).
    • Eligible officers should currently be holding analogous posts or have completed 5 years of regular service in Level-6.
    • Applications must be formally forwarded through the proper channel by the applicant's parent Department.
