Details of Position

Eligibility Details
Candidates considered for appointment on deputation/short-term contract must be officers serving under the Central Government, State Governments, UTs, PSUs, recognized research institutions, Universities, or Semi Government/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience/Post Holding: Must satisfy one of the following conditions:
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
- With five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-12 (Pay Matrix Rs.78800 – 209200) or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.
- Educational Qualification: Master's degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institution.
- Experience: Twelve years' experience in chemical analysis of ores and minerals in a laboratory recognized as a Research Laboratory by CSIR or DST or any other such government organization carrying out chemical analysis of ores and minerals.
Desirable Qualification:
- Doctorate degree in Chemistry from a recognized University.
Maximum Age Limit: Not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Important Conditions
- The period of deputation will initially be for 03 years, subject to extension based on departmental requirement and NOC from the parent department.
- Departmental officers in the feeder grade who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation consideration.
- The period of deputation in another Ex-cadre post should ordinarily not exceed five years.
- Candidates who apply cannot withdraw their candidature subsequently.
- Officers on deputation must forward applications through their parent cadre/Department along with Cadre Clearance, Vigilance Clearance, and Integrity Certificate.
