    The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), a key Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) functioning under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, has released Recruitment Notice No. 03/2026. NHIDCL is mandated to plan, design, develop, maintain, and operate National Highways and associated infrastructure, with a special focus on North-Eastern States, hilly States, border, and strategic areas. Applications are invited from eligible officers currently working in Central Government Ministries/ Departments, Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, State Government Departments, and State Government Public Undertakings for filling up various technical and non-technical posts on a Deputation basis.

    Eligibility Details

    The detailed eligibility conditions, essential qualifications, and experience requirements are provided in Annexure-I of the official notification. Generally, applicants must be officers/employees from Central/State/UT Government Ministries/Departments, PSUs, Statutory/Autonomous bodies, or academic/research institutions, holding analogous posts or possessing specific service experience corresponding to the Pay Matrix Levels and required functional experience in fields like Finance & Accounts, Land Acquisition, Legal, IT, Secretariat, or Official Languages.

    Maximum Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years on the closing date of receipt of applications. The company may consider relaxation up to one year based on requirement.

    Application Details

    Application Deadline: The application should reach the undersigned latest by 30.04.2026.

    Application Method: Applications must be submitted through the proper channel in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II), sent by Registered/Speed Post to the General Manager (Recruitment) at the address below.

    Required Documents: Applications must be accompanied by:

    • Certified copies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (ACRs) for the last 5 years (2025-26 to 2021-22; if 2025-26 is unavailable, 2020-21 should be submitted).
    • Vigilance Clearance certificate from the parent organization.
    • Integrity certificate.
    • Details of major/minor penalties imposed during the last 10 years (or certificate stating none imposed).
    • No Objection Certificate (NoC) from the parent organization.

    Important Conditions

    • The period of deputation will be for an initial period of 3 years, extendable up to another 2 years based on operational requirements and mutual consent.
    • Selected candidates will draw Pay and allowances/perks as per their parent organization rules plus deputation allowance as per NHIDCL rules.
    • Deputationists shall not be eligible for promotion during the deputation period.
    • The envelope containing the application must be superscribed with: "Application for the post of [Name of the post] on Deputation basis".
