- Area of Work/Job Specification: Design and development of Optical thin films for space applications ranging from UV to infrared bands.

- Area of Work/Job Specification: Attending to patients in Department Clinics. Handle medical and surgical emergencies. Pre-employment medical checkup. Mandatory Periodic/ Medical checkup of employees. Providing medical cover during training programmes. Provide care, health education including nutrition and diet to employees and Staff family members. Administrative work of Medical Units. Conduct studies on any emergent situations relating to diseases/epidemics in the Campuses and Staff Colonies. Have to move in ambulances during evacuation of patients. Will have to do standby duties during training programmes and other activities as and when situation emerges. Job involves working extended hours and travelling to various centres across the cities.
- Essential Qualification: M.B.B.S with 2 years of experience (MBBS qualification should be recognised and registered with National Medical Commission (previously Medical Council of India) and pass with minimum second class is essential).
Eligibility Details
Academic and Percentage Criteria:
- For Post Codes 01 & 02 (B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech/M.Sc): Aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of a minimum of 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
- For Post Codes 01 & 02 (B.Sc): Aggregate minimum of 60% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of a minimum of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.
- For Post Code 03 (MBBS): Pass with minimum second class is essential in MBBS with compulsory rotary internship. Must be recognized and registered with NMC.
- Essential qualifications must be completed within the stipulated duration. If university mentions both CGPA/Percentage, at least one criteria must meet DOS/ISRO norms. If only one is mentioned, it must meet the norms.
- Candidates with degrees from foreign universities must produce AIU equivalency certificate at the time of interview (For Post Code 01).
- For Medical Officers (Post Code 03) with foreign degrees, FMGE clearance and certificate from NBEMS is mandatory.

- Scientist/Engineer - 'SD' (Post Code 02): 35 years

Application Method: Online only.
- For Post Codes 01 & 03: Applications must be registered via the ISRO website (www.isro.gov.in) or URSC website (www.ursc.gov.in) between 23.03.2026 and 12.04.2026.
- For Post Code 02: Candidates must register or update their registration on the ISRO Live Register portal (https://liveregister.isro.gov.in/LRClient) on or before 12.04.2026.
- Applicants must provide a correct and compulsory E-mail ID, as call letters will be sent via email only.
- No hard copy of call letters will be sent.
Application Fee Payment:
- Post Codes 01 & 03: Initial processing fee of Rs. 750/- must be paid by all candidates.
- Refund for Post Code 01 & 03:
- Full refund of Rs. 750/- for Women, SC/ST/PwBD, Ex-Servicemen who are exempted from application fee.
- Rs. 500/- refund for candidates who appear in the Written Test (PC 01) / Interview (PC 03).
- No refund for candidates shortlisted but not appearing for Interview (PC 03) or whose application is invalid/incomplete (PC 01 & 03).
- Post Code 02: No application fee is payable.
- Payment must be made online via Bharatkosh portal/payment gateway.
Important Conditions
- Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
- Physical applications will not be entertained.
- Candidates pursuing professional courses through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not eligible.
- Candidates who have passed out in the relevant examinations only are eligible; students awaiting final results need not apply.
- If discrepancies are found at any stage, candidature will be cancelled summarily.
- Candidates employed in Govt/PSU/Autonomous Bodies must submit a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) at the time of interview, having applied with prior permission from the employer.
- ISRO reserves the right to fill up all, some, or none of the advertised posts.
- Appointees are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
- The posts are temporary but likely to continue indefinitely.
Mode of Selection
- Scientist/Engineer - 'SC' (Post Code 01): Written Test & Interview.
- Scientist/Engineer - 'SD' (Post Code 02): Initial screening based on the ISRO Live Register portal data for shortlisting candidates for Interview. Final selection based on performance in the Interview only.
- Medical Officer - 'SC' (Post Code 03): Initial screening based on online application data for shortlisting candidates for Interview. A Written Test may be conducted purely for shortlisting purposes if needed. Final selection based on marks scored in the Interview only.
