    Eligibility Details

    Eligibility criteria are based on deputation/absorption from Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory Administrations (or Engineers from Defence Services for specific posts). Specific requirements for education and experience vary by post (detailed in Annexure-I of the original notice). Age criteria may apply as per policy, and the maximum age limit for appointment by deputation is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

    Joint Director (Administration) - Pay Level 13

    • Qualification: Degree from a recognized university or institution.
    • Experience: Twelve years experience in administration, establishment or accounts matters.

    Joint Director (Accounts) - Pay Level 13

    • Qualification: Bachelor degree from a recognized university.
    • Experience: Ten years experience in Accounts, Management of Finance and Budgeting.

    Additional Chief Construction Engineer (Addl CCE) - Pay Level 13

    • Qualification (Essential): Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or in Architecture from a recognized university or institution.
    • Experience (Essential): Ten years experience in planning or execution of civil works in a responsible position OR Experience in Estate management in a responsible position.

    Senior Accounts Officer Grade –II (Pay Level 10)

    • Qualification: Bachelor degree from a recognized university or Institute.
    • Experience: Three years experience in Accounts, management or finance and budgeting.

    Administrative Officer (Pay Level 7)

    • Qualification: Bachelor degree from a recognized university or institute.
    • Experience: Two years experience in Accounts or Administration or Establishment matters.

    Store Officer (Pay Level 7)

    • Qualification: Bachelor degree from a recognized university.
    • Experience: Three years' experience in store keeping and maintaining stores accounts in relevant government/PSU/listed private sectors.

    Accounts Officer (Pay Level 7)

    • Qualification: Degree of a recognized university AND A pass in the Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination OR successful completion of relevant training, plus minimum 3 years experience in cash, accounts and budget work.

    Private Secretary (Pay Level 7)

    • Officers holding the post in Stenographer under the Central Government with five years service in the Stenographers grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Pay Level-6 or holding analogous post.

    Application Details

    Deadline: 45 days from the date of circulation/publication (i.e., by 29 February 2026 + 45 days = 29 March 2026, assuming publication date 12 Feb 2026 is the start of the 45-day window, counting the crucial date after the first date of publication).

    Method: Applications must be sent to the Deputy Director, Dte of Personnel (Pers-AA1), Room No. 266, 2nd Floor, DRDO Bhawan, New Delhi-110105.

    Required Documents: Application must be duly counter-signed by the Cadre Controlling Authority (as per Annexure-III), along with photocopies of complete and up-to-date APARs for the last five years (2019-20 to 2023-24), attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary in the Central Govt or equivalent.

    Important Conditions

    • Applications not accompanied by supporting certificates/documents will not be processed.
    • Applications received after the last date or without duly attested copies of ACRs/APARs or without counter-signature of the Cadre Controlling Authority will not be considered.
    • Advance copies or applications not received through proper channel will not be entertained.
    • The period of deputation ordinarily shall not exceed three years.
    • Departmental officers in the feeder category eligible for promotion are not eligible for deputation.

    Mode of Selection

    Selection will be based on the assessment of qualifications, experience, and documents submitted by the Selection Committee.
