Eligibility Details
Eligibility criteria are specific to officers currently serving in Central/State Government/Union Territories. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed fifty-six years as on the last date of receipt of applications for all posts.
Senior Translator (General Central Service, Group 'B', Non-Gazetted, Ministerial)
- Experience/Holding Post: (a) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department; OR (ii) with five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in pay level 6 of the pay matrix.
- Essential Qualification (Possessing any one):
- Masters degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
- Masters degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
- Masters degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium AND English as a compulsory/elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
- Masters degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination at the degree level; OR
- Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa; OR
- Three years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government office, including Public Sector Undertaking.
Upper Division Clerk (General Central Service, Group 'C', Non-Gazetted, Ministerial)
- Experience/Holding Post: (i) Holding equivalent or analogous posts on regular basis; OR (ii) With eight years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level 2 in the pay matrix or equivalent.
Senior Accountant (General Central Service, Group 'B', Non-Gazetted, Ministerial)
- Experience/Holding Post: (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR (ii) With five years regular service in the posts in level 6 of the pay matrix.
- Qualification (Possessing any one): (i) Pass in the Subordinate Audit/ Accounts Service Exam or equivalent examination conducted by any one of the organized accounts departments of the Central Government; OR (ii) Successful completion of training in the Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent training course AND a minimum of three years experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget work.
Note: The period of deputation including previous service shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Application Details
Application Deadline: The applications, forwarded through proper channels along with NOC and copies of APARs for the last 5 years, must reach the laboratory by 20/02/2026.
Method of Application: Applications must be forwarded by the eligible and interested candidates through the proper channel (cadre controlling authority/sponsoring authority) to the Director, Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Guwahati, using the prescribed proforma attached to the circular.
Required Documents (to be forwarded by Sponsoring Authority): NOC, copies of APARs for the last 5 years, and verification certificates confirming eligibility, no pending vigilance cases, and no penalties in the last 10 years.
Important Conditions
- Applications received only through the proper channel will be considered.
- The deputation period is ordinarily limited to three years.
- APARs for the preceding five years must be attached.
- Age limit for deputation must not exceed fifty-six years as of the last date of application receipt.
