Eligibility Details
Minimum Qualification (Common): Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience Criteria:
- Assistant Professor Grade II (7th CPC Pay level 10 & 11): Candidates with less than three years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industrial experience may be considered.
- Assistant Professor Grade I (7th CPC Pay level 12): Candidates with at least 3 years of post-PhD teaching/research/industrial experience may be considered.
Specific Educational Requirements (Examples based on roles):
- For Engineering/Science Roles: Must possess a 4-year Bachelor's degree or a 5-year integrated Master's degree in the relevant discipline (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering). Specific combinations of degrees are required depending on the department.
- For Chemistry: Must possess a Bachelor's degree AND a Master's degree OR a 5-year integrated Master's degree in Chemistry / Chemical Science and Technology.
- For HSS: Ph.D. in the relevant advertised areas.
- For Health Sciences (Example 15): Must possess a 4-year Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering/Science fields OR a Master's degree in Life Science/Biomedical Science/etc. OR an MBBS degree.

Important Conditions
- Pay and allowances will be as per Government of India rules.
- The Institute adheres to reservation policies per the Central Educational Institutes (Reservation in Teacher's cadre) Act, 2019.
- Candidates should preferably be below 35 years of age as on the advertisement date, with applicable age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST = 5 yrs, OBC-NCL = 3 yrs, PwBD = 5 yrs relaxation).
- Degrees must be obtained from a recognized University/Institute.
- Candidates currently employed in Government/Semi-Government organizations must apply through proper channels or provide an NOC.
