Candidates selected may be posted at BCAS Headquarters in New Delhi or at any of its Regional Offices (ROs) across the country.
Eligibility Details
Candidates must satisfy the following essential criteria:
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
- Having five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis in posts in Level 11 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; AND
- Possessing a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
Experience Required: Ten years of experience in police or security or intelligence departments of Government of India or State or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organisation.
Maximum Age Limit: 56 years.
Note on Eligibility: These posts are proposed to be filled up on deputation (ISTC) basis only. Retired and Private candidates are not eligible to apply.

Application Deadline: Within 60 days from the date of publication of the circular in the 'Employment News' (i.e., by 2026-03-01).
Method: Applications must be forwarded through proper channels. The Bio-data (in triplicate), in the prescribed format (Annexure-I), must be countersigned and duly stamped by the Competent Authority.
Required Documents to be attached with Bio-data:
- DE/Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- Integrity Certificate.
- List of penalties (Major/Minor) imposed, if any, during the last 10 years.
- APARS/ACRs for the last five years (2020-21 to 2024-25 / 2021-2025), attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India or equivalent on each page.

Important Conditions

Mode of Selection
