Eligibility Details
Essential Eligibility Conditions:
- (i) Postgraduate Degree in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics
- (ii) M.Ed.
- (iii) PhD in Education
Essential Qualifications & Academic Record:
As per the Recruitment Rules (RR) for Faculty in NITs, as outlined in Schedule 'E' of the National Institute of Technology Calicut Statutes, 2017. Candidates should possess a First Class (at least 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 or equivalent or 60% aggregate) from Bachelor's degree onwards.
Age Limit:
Maximum 50 years as on the opening date of the application portal.
Other Conditions:
Deputation will be offered to officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis.
Period of Deputation:
The period of deputation will initially be 1 year, extendable up to 3 years.

Hard Copy Submission Address:

A recommendation from the Head of the Institute/Director must be enclosed with the hard copy application.
Important Conditions
- Institute accommodation may be provided subject to availability and NITC norms.
- No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the selection process.
- TA/DA for joining the post on deputation shall be admissible as per the Government of India/NITC rules.
- Mere fulfillment of the required qualifications and experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview / selection.
