Eligibility Details
Applications are invited from officers currently holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or possessing the following service experience:
- Officers under Central/State Govt./UTs/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi Government Organization/Autonomous Organization holding equivalent post, OR
- With 2 years of service in the grade of Level - 9 (₹53,100 - ₹167,800; PB-2 ₹9,300-34,800 + GP ₹5,400) or equivalent, OR
- With 7 years of service in the grade of Assistant Engineer (Level - 7; ₹44,900 - ₹142,400; PB-2 ₹9,300-34,800 + GP ₹4,600) or equivalent.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university OR having passed Part A&B Examination of Institution of Engineers (India).
Note on Experience: In case eligible candidates with 07 years of experience as Assistant Engineer are not available, candidates with 03 years or more experience in the grade of Assistant Engineer (Civil) will be considered.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Tenure: Period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 03 (Three) years, including the period already spent on deputation in another ex-cadre post immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government.
