    Mormugao Port Authority, a premier organization under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, is inviting applications for the position of Sr. Deputy Chief Accounts Officer (Dy. HoD). This is a senior-level opportunity on a deputation basis, designed for experienced finance professionals currently serving in other Government, Semi-Government, PSU, or Autonomous bodies. The role is critical for the financial management and accounting operations of the Port Authority.     Eligibility Details

    Candidates must be officers from Central/State Govt/PSUs/Autonomous bodies holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the scale of pay Rs. 80000-220000 or equivalent. Professionals with specific experience as per the recruitment rules for the Finance Department of Major Port Authority are eligible. Age criteria may apply as per policy.

    Application Details

    Applications must be submitted through the "Online Application Portal" (OAP) of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways. The deadline for online submission is 30.04.2026, and the print-out of the application through proper channel must reach the office by 15.05.2026. Required documents include attested ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years, vigilance clearance, no objection certificate, and educational certificates.

    Important Conditions

    • The period of deputation is initially for 3 years, extendable up to 5 years.
    • Applications received incomplete or after the due date will be rejected.
    • Candidates must have a good service record with ACRs/APARs not below 'Very Good'.
    • Withdrawal of candidature after selection will lead to debarment for two years.

    Mode of Selection

    The selection will be made based on merit, specifically considering the Annual Confidential Reports (ACR) or Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APAR) for the last five years, which must not be below the 'Very Good' rating.
