    Location: Indore (Selected candidates may be relocated to any Unit/Center/Department of IIT Indore).

    Eligibility Details

    Essential Qualification:

    • M.E./ M.Tech in CSE or MCA with first class and at least 03 years of experience. OR
    • B.E./ B.Tech/ MSc (CS) with first class and 05 years of relevant experience and knowledge in a reputed IT organization.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Professional certification such as RHCSA/RHCE, MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, VMware or equivalent, Firewall certifications (Fortinet/Palo Alto/ Sophos/ equivalent).
    • Exposure to IT governance, cybersecurity practices, ITIL/ COBIT/ ISO 27001 and enterprise IT operations.
    • Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management (servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and data center operations).
    • Experience in systems administration and network fundamentals (Linux/Windows, VMware/XCP-ng/KVM).
    • Experience in Data Centre operations (rack management, power, cooling, UPS, asset lifecycle).
    • Experience of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
    • Experience in IT security practices, monitoring, and incident handling.
    • Ability to coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC, SLA, and implementation.
    • Experience with HPC systems and large-scale institutional IT environments.
    • Experience in automation/ scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
    • Experience in drafting IT policies, SOPs, and compliance documents.
