Eligibility Details
Age Limit: 29 years as on 17.09.2025.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Field Engineer (Electrical): Full time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent with minimum 55% marks. One year post-qualification experience in Design/Engineering/Construction/Testing & Commissioning in relevant areas.
- Field Engineer (Civil): Full time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil discipline or equivalent with minimum 55% marks. One year post-qualification experience in Design/Engineering/Construction/Testing & Commissioning in relevant areas.
- Field Supervisor (Electrical): Full Time Diploma in Electrical or equivalent discipline with minimum 55% marks. One year post-qualification experience in Construction/Testing & commissioning in relevant areas. Higher technical qualifications (B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/ME) are not allowed.
- Field Supervisor (Civil): Full Time Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent with minimum 55% marks. One year post-qualification experience in Construction/Testing & commissioning in relevant areas. Higher technical qualifications (B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/ME) are not allowed.
- Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication): Full time Diploma in Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Information Technology or equivalent with minimum 55% marks. One year post-qualification experience in design/ engineering/ construction/ testing & commissioning/ operation & maintenance of Tele Communication System. Higher technical qualifications (B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/ME) are not allowed.
Relaxations in Upper Age Limit: 3 years for OBC(NCL), 5 years for SC/ST, 10/13/15 years for PwBD (UR/OBC/SC/ST respectively), as per Govt. of India directives. Ex-Servicemen relaxation as per rules.

Important Conditions
- Engagement is purely on a temporary and contractual basis.
- Candidates must register with National Skills Registry (NSR) and get specified details verified.
- Submission of Police Verification Report is mandatory.
- No claim for regular employment in POWERGRID.
- Contractual engagement will automatically terminate on expiry of the contract period or completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
