Eligibility Details
Essential Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Educational Qualification:
(i) Chartered Accountant; or Cost and Management Accountant; or Master in Business Administration (Finance) from a recognized University or Institute.
OR
Member of any organized Group-‘A’ Finance or Accounts Service of the Central Government or the State Government. - Experience:
(ii) 14 years service since appointment in the Level 10 of Pay Matrix (Rs.56100 to 177500) or equivalent level or higher on regular basis; out of which 09 years experience in Financial Accounting or Budgeting or Internal Audit or Contract Management or Fund Management or Disbursement in an Organisation of repute.
Recruitment Criteria (for Deputation):
- Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations and other Government Bodies.
- (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre in Level 13 of the Pay Matrix (Rs.123100 to 215900) or equivalent.
- OR
With five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level 12 of the Pay Matrix (Rs.78800-209200) or equivalent. - AND
Possessing the essential educational qualification and essential experience stipulated above.
Note: The period of deputation shall ordinarily be 01 to 05 years, extendable up to 07 years under specific conditions and approvals.
Other Conditions:
- Candidates should have more than 02 years of remaining service as on the closing date of applications.
- Age of superannuation for deputationists is 60 years or as applicable in their parent organization, whichever is less.
Application Details
Deadline: The last date for submission of the online application is 08.10.2025 (06:00 PM). The printout of the application along with requisite documents must reach NHAI by 23.10.2025.
Method: Applications must be submitted ONLINE only through the NHAI website. After online submission, a printout of the application form along with necessary documents needs to be forwarded through the parent department.

- Attested copies of Annual Confidential Reports / Annual Performance Appraisal Report / gist of APARs/ACRs/ certificate with regard to work & conduct for the last five (05) years
- Vigilance clearance certifying that no penalty is imposed against the officer for the last ten years
- Integrity certificate and no penalty certificate
- Certified copy of APARs/ACRs
- Verified educational/professional qualification(s), relevant experience and pay particulars from service records.
Important Conditions
- Posts carry All India service liability.
- Selected candidates must not decline the offer of appointment.
