    The position details are as follows:

    • Place of Work: Nalanda Building, UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Kalina Campus, University of Mumbai, Santacruz (E), Mumbai – 400098.

    Eligibility Details

    Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications and experience criteria:

    • Essential Qualifications: Graduation.
    • Essential Experience: 10 years' work experience in a Lower/ Middle managerial position in Central/State Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies in the field of Finance and Accounts with knowledge of Government orders and Rules. Out of this, 08 years' experience should be in Level 8 in the 7th CPC Pay matrix level/ Grade Pay Rs. 4800 and above.
    • Desirable Experience: Familiarity with DAE rules.
    • Upper Age Limit: 50 years (as on November 01, 2025).
    • Duties and Responsibilities: Provide assistance to Director and Registrar in managing all finance-related matters; responsible for day-to-day functions of Accounts (Balance sheet, Budget, Auditing, Accounting, Financial Management, Taxation); provide guidance to personnel; and coordinate with DAE for accounts-related matters. Reporting to Registrar, CEBS.

    • NOC: An NOC from the competent authority is mandatory for persons currently employed in Government Departments or Autonomous Institutions at the time of the interview.

    Important Conditions
