Responsibilities include planning, designing, executing and monitoring Civil engineering projects related to National Highways, Strategic Roads, Tunnels and infrastructure projects etc. ensuring compliance with government policies and standards and any other work assigned by the competent authority. |
PwBDs Reservation: 02 posts out of 34 posts are horizontally reserved for PwBDs as under:
- (i) Deaf and Hard of hearing: 01 post
- (ii) Locomotor disability [one arm (OA)/ one post Leg (OL)], leprosy cured, dwarfism and acid attack victims: 01 post
Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. They must also have qualified the GATE Examination in Civil Engineering discipline in the year 2023, 2024, or 2025.
Age Criteria: The upper age limit is not exceeding 34 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxations are available for SC/ST candidates (5 years), Other Backward Classes (NCL) (3 years), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC, 10 years for UR/EWS), and Ex-servicemen (5 years with conditions).
Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan.
Other Requirements: Candidates must possess a Valid Protected / Reserved Category certificate for availing the benefits of reservation. Functional requirements for PwBDs categories are also specified.

Mode of Selection
Selection will be based on the best of the GATE scores in Civil Engineering obtained in the years 2023, 2024, or 2025. Candidates with equal scores will be selected based on their date of birth (oldest first) and then alphabetically by their first name.
