Eligibility Details
Detailed qualifications vary by post. General requirements are summarized below:
- Zoo Design Consultant ('C'): Accredited Degree (B. Arch. / B.Tech. Civil / M. Arch. / M. Tech. Civil or Ph.D. in relevant field) with 10-15 years experience OR Retired Govt. employee (Grade Pay 8700/-+) with 10-15 years relevant experience.
- Biologist ('A'): Master's Degree in Zoology / Wildlife Biology/science with 3-5 years experience OR Retired Govt. employee (Grade Pay 4600/-+) with 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Animal Health and Welfare Consultant ('B'): Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary science and Animal husbandry with 5-10 years experience OR Retired Govt. employee (Grade Pay 6600/-+) with 5-10 years relevant experience.
- IT and Media Consultant ('A'): B.Tech./ B.E. in IT / M.Sc. in IT with 3-5 years experience OR Retired Govt. employee (Grade Pay 4600/-+) with 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Desirable Skills (General): Experience in related domains (zoo/wildlife projects, animal behavior, web content creation, etc.), proficiency in MS Office, and sometimes specific software (AutoCAD, GIS, etc.).
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit for all categories is 65 years.

Important Conditions
- Appointment is on a full-time, temporary (non-official), and purely contractual basis.
- Consultants are not entitled to any allowances (DA, Residential Accommodation, Medical Reimbursement, etc.), except for retired government employees whose pension/DR will continue.
- Annual increment up to 8% based on performance may be granted.
- No TA/DA is admissible for the interview or joining/completion, though TA/DA/Hotel may be allowed for official work outside the city under specific rules.
- Consultants must display utmost honesty and secrecy; breach of conduct or conflict of interest can lead to immediate termination.
- Absence from duty for 8 continuous days without information leads to automatic termination.
Mode of Selection
Applications will be scrutinized, and about 5 candidates per vacancy will be shortlisted based on experience, qualification, and desirable criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview via E-mail.
