Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification & Experience: Candidates must possess a Degree or Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline with specific post-qualification work experience as detailed below:
- Section Engineer (S&T): Degree (04 years exp.) or Diploma (07 years exp.) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in Infrastructure Projects of Railway Signalling.
- Section Engineer-Electrical (SCADA): Degree (04 years exp.) or Diploma (07 years exp.) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with experience in maintenance or construction of Electrical works for building/ sub-station/ distribution system along with SCADA in infrastructure projects.
- Planning & Procurement Engineer: Degree (04 years exp.) or Diploma (07 years exp.) in Civil Engineering with experience in preparation of procurement strategy, tender documents, bid process management, managing contracts of Railway infrastructure projects.
- Section Engineer/ Civil: Degree (04 years exp.) or Diploma (07 years exp.) in Civil Engineering with experience in construction/ supervision of Railway Infrastructure projects.
- Drawing and Design Engineer/ S&T: Degree (04 years exp.) or Diploma (07 years exp.) in Electronics and communication/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering with experience in designing Railway Signalling.
- Drawing & Design Engineer/ Electrical: Degree (04 years exp.) or Diploma (07 years exp.) in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering with experience in Infrastructure Projects involving Railway electrification aspects.
- Section Engineer/Electrical: Degree (04 years exp.) or Diploma (07 years exp.) in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering with experience in maintenance or construction of Electrical works in infrastructure projects.
- QS and Billing Engineer: Degree (04 years exp.) or Diploma (07 years exp.) in Civil Engineering with experience in preparation of detailed Estimate of project components, billing, budgeting & cost controlling of Railway Infrastructure projects.
- Design Engineer/Civil: Degree (04 years exp.) in Civil Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with a Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering(civil).
- Assistant Environmental Expert: Degree (04 years exp.) or Diploma (07 years exp.) in environmental engineering or Diploma in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering.
Age Limit: Maximum age is 55 years as on 09.10.2025. Relaxation in age will be applicable as per Government norms for reserved categories.
Note for Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess Degree recognized by AICTE. Sections A & B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) will also be accepted.
Note: Experience shall be calculated as on 09.10.2025.

Mode of Selection
Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility. The selection process involves an Interview with a weightage of 100%. Technical & Professional proficiency will carry 65% and Personality Communication & Competency will carry 35%.
