Eligibility Details
The qualifications for the appointment of Principal (OTHER THAN EDUCATION, PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND MEDICAL COLLEGE) are in accordance with UGC regulations adopted by the University of Delhi (as per Annexure-II):
- Education: Ph.D. Degree.
- Experience: Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in universities, Colleges, and other institutions of higher education.
- Research Publications: A minimum of 10 research publications in UGC Care List and SCOPUS Publications.
- Research Score: A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Annexure IV criteria.
Important Note on Experience: The time taken to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. Degree shall not be counted as teaching/research experience. However, service spent pursuing a research degree simultaneously with teaching (without leave) counts as teaching experience.
