Eligibility Details
Candidates must be holding analogous posts on a regular basis in their parent cadre/department or meet the specified service criteria for deputation:
- Assistant (Level - 6): Holding the analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR Having ten years of regular service in Pay Level - 4 (Rs.25500-81100, Pre-revised Pay Band-1, Rs.25500-81100 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400) in the parent cadre/department.
- UDC (Level - 4): Holding the analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR Having eight years of regular service in Pay Level - 2 (Rs.19900-63200, Pre-revised Pay Band-1, of Rs.5200-20200 with GP Rs.1900) in the parent cadre/department.
- MTS (Level - 1): MTS from the ICAR System/Central Government/State Government/Union Territories/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs who have confirmed in their parent organization after successfully completing the probation period.
Age Criteria: The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation/deputation (including short term contract) shall not exceed fifty-six years on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Application Details

Method of Application: Applications must be sent through the proper channel in the enclosed proforma (Annexure-I) to the undersigned (Administrative Officer & Head of Office, ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow).
Required Documents to be sent along with Application:
- Initial appointment letter for the post of Technical Assistant (T-3) issued by their respective Institute.
- Attested copies of the APAR dossiers for the last ten/eight/two years (as applicable).
- Vigilance Clearance & Integrity Certificate.
- A statement of major/ minor penalty, if any, imposed on the applicant during the last five years.
- Any other relevant document.
Important Conditions
- Period of deputation, including in another ex-cadre post, shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.
- Preference in deputation will be given to officials of the ICAR System.
- Departmental officials in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation consideration.
- The appointing authority may permanently absorb officials who come on deputation if no incumbent is available in the feeder cadre, subject to DoP&T/GoI guidelines and parent department agreement.
