Eligibility Details
Applications are invited only from officers of the Central Government who fulfill the requisite qualifications and experience specified in Annexure-I for their respective posts. General eligibility criteria across roles include:
- General Requirement: Officers must be holding analogous posts on a regular basis, or possessing specified years of regular service in equivalent/lower pay scales.
- Educational Qualifications: Specific Master's degrees (often involving Hindi/English combinations or specific subject proficiencies) are required for higher posts. Stenographers require specific shorthand speeds (100 w.p.m. for Gr. C, 80 w.p.m. for Gr. D). LDC requires typing speeds (30 w.p.m. Hindi, 25 w.p.m. English) and computer knowledge.
- Experience: Varies by post, ranging from 2 years experience in Official Language policy implementation (Research Assistant) up to 5 years (Senior Research Officer) or 3 years (Hindi Officer) in relevant roles, noting, or drafting.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
- Tenure: Period of deputation, including previous ex-cadre deputations, shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
