    Eligibility Details

    Essential Qualification:

    • M.A (Economics)

    Desirable Qualification:

    • Ph.D. (Economics)

    Qualifying Service (Officers under the Central Government):

    • Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; OR
    • With 2 years regular service in the level-13A (Rs. 1,31,100-2,16,600/-) of pay matrix or pre-revised PB-4, Grade Pay Rs. 8,900/- or equivalent; OR
    • With 3 years regular service in the level-13 (Rs. 1,23,100-2,15,900/-) of pay matrix or pre-revised PB-4, Grade Pay Rs. 8,700/- or equivalent;

    Nature of Experience:

    • Application of regulatory Economics, demand forecasting or modelling.

    Age Limit:

    • Maximum age limit is 56 years on the last date of receipt of the applications.

    Application Details

    Application Deadline: Monday, 09th February 2026. Applications routed through proper channel must reach by this date. Applications routed through proper channel received within thirty days after the closing date (i.e. 11th March 2026) may also be entertained.

    Method of Application: Offline submission via post/courier AND Online submission via website.

    Required Documents: Applications in the prescribed format (Annexure-II) must be duly completed and signed, along with attested photocopies of all relevant documents in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, etc. For deputation applications, attested copies of ACRs/APARs for the last five years, along with the latest Vigilance Clearance/Integrity Certificate must be enclosed.

    Important Conditions

    • The number of posts is tentative and subject to change.
    • Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for interaction.
    • The normal period of deputation/short term contract as per Recruitment Rules is three years.
    • The post is exempted from the principle of immediate absorption.
    • Other Backward Classes/Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes candidates would be given preference if all other conditions are fulfilled.
    • CERC reserves the right to keep the post unfilled.
