    Eligibility Details

    Registrar & Controller of Examination (Common Requirements)

    • Essential Qualification (E.Q.): Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
    • Experience for Registrar: At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor (Academic Level 11) and above OR 8 years service in Academic Level 12 (as Associate Professor) along with educational administration experience, OR comparable research experience, OR 15 years administrative experience, including 8 years as Deputy Registrar (Pay Level 12) or equivalent or higher.
    • Experience for Controller of Examination: Similar experience criteria as Registrar apply, focusing on high-level administrative experience.
    • Desirable Qualification (D.Q.): Ph.D. degree, Degree in Management or L.L.B., Knowledge of Computers, Experience of e-governance.

    Medical Superintendent

    • Essential Qualification (E.Q.): (a) Medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the IMC Act, 1956, AND (ii) Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) in any Medical Discipline. OR Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA) or equivalent. (b) Must be registered with MCI/NMC.
    • Experience: 14 years teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the postgraduate qualification in specialty or Master's Degree in Hospital Administration, of which at least 7 years should be in administration of a major hospital (300+ beds) in a senior position. OR Ten years post-qualification experience in hospital administration (300+ beds) in a senior position (not below Pay Level-12).
    • Desirable Qualification (D.Q.): Master's degree in Hospital Administration OR a Post Graduate Degree recognized as equivalent to MHA by NMC, with experience in an NMC recognized medical college/institute.

    General Conditions Applicable to All Posts

    • Tenure is initially for five years. Age of superannuation: 62 years (Registrar/Controller) or 65 years (Medical Superintendent), or completion of five years tenure, whichever is earlier.
    • Maximum age limit for deputation candidates is 58 years as on the closing date.
    • Applicants must have an overall grading of “Very Good” in the past five APARs/ACRs starting from 2021 (or “Good or Satisfactory” for faculty members).
    • The incumbent will not have any legal right to claim regularization/appointment by absorption upon completion of tenure.

    Physical Submission Deadline: The downloaded application form along with supporting documents must reach the Registrar's office by 14/02/2026, up to 5:00 p.m.

    Required Documents: Certified copies of APARs/ACRs and No Objection Certificate/Vigilance clearance (if applicable) must be submitted within one month of the application deadline if applying directly.
