The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), an attached office of the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA), Government of India (GOI), is inviting applications for filling up various Group 'A', 'B', & 'C' posts on deputation (including Short-Term Contract) basis. These opportunities are open to eligible and willing candidates serving under the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, CAPFs, PSUs, Recognized Research Institutions, Universities, or Semi-Government/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations. Positions: Deputy Director (Intelligence), Law Officer, Assistant Director (AD), Senior Aviation Security Officer (SASO), Senior Aviation Security Assistant (SASA), Staff Car Driver (Grade-I), Staff Car Driver (Grade-II), and Dispatch Rider (DR).
Total Vacancies: 43 (Tentative)

Posting Locations: BCAS Headquarters at New Delhi or at any of its Supervisory Offices (SOs)/ Regional Offices (ROs)/Assistant Regional Offices (AROS) located across the country.
Eligibility Details
Deputy Director (Intelligence) - Level L-11
- Qualification/Experience: Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500) or equivalent.
- Experience: Five years' working experience in intelligence and liaison work in Police or Security or Intelligence Department of Government of India or State Government or Union Territories Administration or Public Sector Undertaking.
- Required Education: Bachelor degree from a recognised university or institute.
- Desirable: Two years' experience of Intelligence matters in Aviation Security field.
- Deputation Tenure: Four years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 56 years.
Law Officer - Level L-10
- Qualification/Experience: Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR With two years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-9 or equivalent; OR With four years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-8 or equivalent.
- Required Education: (i) Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognised university or institute.
- Experience: Three years' regular experience of legal work.
- Desirable: Out of total experience, at least one-year regular experience of legal work should be in Aviation Security related matters.
- Deputation Tenure: Three years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 56 years.
Assistant Director (AD) - Level L-10
- Qualification/Experience: Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department OR With three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in post in level 07 or equivalent.
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
- Experience: Three years' experience in police or security or intelligence department of Government of India or State or Union territories or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organisation.
- Deputation Tenure: Three years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 52 years.
SASO - Level L-7
- Qualification/Experience: Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department OR With three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the level 6 of pay matrix or equivalent OR With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 6 of pay matrix or equivalent.
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
- Experience: Three years' experience in police/security/intelligence department of Government of India or State Government or Union territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Organisation.
- Deputation Tenure: Three years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 56 years.
Senior Aviation Security Assistant (SASA) - Level L-3
- Qualification/Experience: Officers of the Central Armed Police Forces or State Police Organisations or Union territory Police Organisations; OR Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department OR three years' regular service rendered in the pay level 02 in the pay matrix.
- Deputation Tenure: Three years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 56 years.
Driver (Gr. I) - Level L-5 & Driver (Gr. II) - Level L-4
- Driver (Gr. I): Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre OR Head Constable in level 4 of the pay matrix with 05 years regular service from Central Armed Police Forces or State Govt. Police or Union territory Police; having fifteen years regular service.
- Driver (Gr. II): Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre OR Head Constable in level 4 of the pay matrix with 05 years regular service from Central Armed Police Forces or State Govt. Police or Union territory Police; having fifteen years regular service.
- Experience/Skills (Common for Drivers): (i) Must have a valid driving license for heavy/light motor vehicle with at least 10 years of driving a motor vehicle. (ii) Must be able to read English Numerals and figures. (iii) Must have a thorough knowledge of Traffic Regulation. (iv) Must have a good knowledge of petrol and diesel engine working and be able to locate faults and rectify minor running defects. (v) Must be able to clear car carburetor and plug.
- Deputation Tenure: Three years for both grades.
- Maximum Age Limit: 56 years for both grades.
Dispatch Rider (DR) - Level L-2
- Qualification/Experience: From amongst Police Constables from Central Police Organisations or Delhi Police or State Govt. Police possessing valid driving license for Motor cycle or three-wheeler scooter.
- Deputation Tenure: Three years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 52 years.

- Bio-data (in triplicate), prescribed format, countersigned & duly stamped by the Competent Authority.
- DE/Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- Integrity Certificate.
- List of penalties (Major/Minor) imposed, if any, during the last 10 years.
- APARS/ACRs for the last five years (Xerox copies attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India or equivalent on each page).
Important Conditions
- The selection is strictly for deputation (ISTC) basis only; Retired and Private candidates are not eligible.
- Incomplete applications or applications forwarded without the complete set of essential documents will be summarily rejected without further correspondence.
- Candidates who apply for the above posts will not be allowed to withdraw their candidatures subsequently.
- Selected candidates will be governed by terms and conditions of deputation laid down in DOPT's OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended.
