    Eligibility Details

    Essential Qualifications (For Computer Science/Electronics Engineering/ECE Disciplines):

    1. B. E/ B.Tech. in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering from Institute of National Importance, OR
    2. Integrated M. E./ M.Tech. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering with first class or equivalent division.

    OR

    1. Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering with first class or equivalent division.

    Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant fields.

    Special Note for ST Candidates (Post 01): B. E./B.Tech. in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering from Institute of National Importance after B. E./B.Tech. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering with first class or equivalent division and qualified in GATE. M. E./M. Tech. is not required for such candidates.

    Application Deadline: The Walk-in-Interview is tentatively scheduled for the 3rd or 4th week of January 2026. Exact dates will be notified on the Institute website.

    Application Method: Email advance copy followed by physical submission on the interview date.

    Procedure:

    • Download Application Form from https://niamt.ac.in/.
    • Fill, sign on all pages, and scan the copy.
    • Email the scanned copy of the duly filled and signed Application Form in advance to recruitment@niamt.ac.in with a copy to hodece@niamt.ac.in at least one week before the interview date (which will be notified later).
    • Do not send copies of certificates/documents with the advance email.
    • On the date of the Walk-in-Interview, bring the original filled Application Form, all required supporting documents (educational qualifications, experience, date of birth, etc.) in Original, and one set of self-attested photocopies, along with a valid Government ID proof.

    Important Conditions

    • The recruitment is purely on a temporary/contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months, extendable based on performance.
    • No claim for regular appointment shall be made by the candidate.
    • The contract can be terminated by either side with one month's notice.
    • The Offer of Appointment is provisional and subject to verification of original documents upon joining.
    • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
    • The Institute reserves the right to cancel the process or change selection criteria at any time.
    • If a large number of applicants report, shortlisting may be done via MCQ based Written Test and/or evaluation of Educational Qualifications and Publications.
