    These positions are under the DEPARTMENT - Engineering & Maintenance (Projects), DOMAIN - Projects, and are on a long-term contract basis (03-05 years).

    Eligibility Details

    Chief Engineer (E7)

    • Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech / B.Sc in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
    • Essential Work Experience: At least 22 years of experience in planning, designing, organizing, controlling Civil infrastructures in handling at least 5 Civil construction projects.
    • Desirable Qualification: M.E/M.Tech / M.Sc (Eng.) in Civil Engineering
    • Desirable Work Experience: Experience in handling modification works in old Civil projects; Experience in coordination and monitoring of projects centrally for multi locations; Experience in supervising the Civil / Electrical/ Mechanical maintenance works at multi-locations; Proven leadership quality.

    Superintending Engineer (E6)

    • Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech / B.Sc in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
    • Essential Work Experience: At least 20 years of experience in planning, designing, organizing, controlling Civil infrastructures in handling at least 5 Civil construction projects.
    • Desirable Qualification: M.E/M.Tech / M.Sc (Eng.) in Civil Engineering
    • Desirable Work Experience: Experience in handling modification works in old Civil projects; Experience in coordination and monitoring of projects centrally for multi locations; Experience in supervising the Civil / Electrical/ Mechanical maintenance works at multi-locations; Proven leadership quality.

    Age criteria may apply as per policy. Upper Age Limit provided is as on release date of the advertisement notification.

    Application Details

    • Deadline: 05 March 2026 (Online registration closes at 11:59 PM).
    • Method: Online registration and submission is mandatory via the official website.
    • Process: Interested candidates must register and submit online applications at https://www.fddiindia.com/career.php and upload required documents mentioned in the online form.
    • Start Date: Online registration commenced on 06 February 2026 at 11:00 AM.
    • Required Documents: Documents as mentioned in the online form must be uploaded. Applicants working in Government Organisations/PSUs must submit an NOC from their current employer.

    Important Conditions

    • Only Indian Nationals need apply.
    • All posts are on a long-term contract basis (03-05 years contract), extendable based on FDDI requirement and performance.
    • FDDI reserves the right to reject applications or call candidates based on actual qualification/experience, which might be higher or lower than the advertised level.
    • No Transport Allowance/Daily Allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
    • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen category should enclose a copy of the prescribed certificate.
    • Reservation Policy, including age relaxation, shall be as per Government of India Rules.
    • Selected candidates' appointment is subject to their medical fitness.
    • No correspondence will be entertained with non-shortlisted candidates or for incomplete applications.
    • Recruitment will be done through written test/interview.
    • Employees appointed through HO/campus-specific advertisements must serve a minimum of three (03) years of continuous service at the respective campus.
    • Salary shown is monthly Cost-to-Institute (CTI), which is inclusive of Basic Pay, HRA, Special Allowance, PF, LTC, mobile reimbursement, medical reimbursement, and Gratuity.
    • The decision of Management regarding selection will be final.
