Eligibility Details
Qualifications, Pay Scales, and other conditions for the advertised positions shall be in accordance with UGC Regulations-2018/AICTE-2019/PCI notification No. 14-163/2021-PCI/12730, dated 08.08.2022, and U.P. State Government's rules.
- Candidates must satisfy themselves regarding Essential Qualifications before applying.
- Selection criteria for teaching positions are laid down by Chancellor Secretariat's Office Orders 2021 and UGC Regulations 2018.
- Candidates awarded Ph.D. from foreign Universities must enclose an 'Equivalence Certificate' from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, unless exempted by the MHRD's Foreign Scholarship Programme.
- Experience and Qualifications will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of the application form (15.03.2026).
- The service conditions and age of superannuation shall be as per U.P. State Govt. norms.

Application Fee: Rs. 3000/- (Rs. 2500/- for SC/ST candidates only), payable online.
Method of Application: The application process is strictly online only via the University Website: www.dbrau.ac.in. However, a hard copy of the duly filled application form along with supporting documents (each page duly signed) must be sent by Registered/Speed post to The Registrar, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra -282004 (U.P.). The hard copy must reach the office by 25.03.2026.
Required Documents (to be submitted online and hard copy): Scanned copies of all supporting documents for claims made (Eligibility, Achievements, Publications, etc.), Mark sheets, Certificates, and documents for research scores, as specified in the advertisement.
Important Conditions
- The University reserves the right to withdraw/not fill up/increase or decrease the number of advertised posts.
- Candidates applying for more than one position must apply separately and submit the fee for each application.
- Incomplete applications or applications without the requisite fee/certificates will be rejected.
- The application fee is non-refundable.
- Caste/Category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) must be on the prescribed Government of U.P. format and dated as required (e.g., OBC/EWS certificate on or after 01 October, 2025).
- An applicant already in employment requires a 'No Objection Certificate', which must be presented at the time of the interview at the latest.
- Data entered in the online form cannot be changed after final submission.
Mode of Selection
Selection for Assistant Professor involves two phases: (i) Shortlisting based on Basic Academic Score and API Score + Written Test (40 points), followed by (ii) Assessment of teaching skills (20 points) and Interview (10 points).
Selection for Associate Professor and Professor involves two parts: (i) Shortlisting based on Basic Academic Score and API Score (50% weightage, minimum 75/120 score required), followed by (ii) Interview (20/20 points).
