A total of Twenty-Five (25) vacancies are available across various specialized fields for JRF and RA positions. Candidates must report for the walk-in interview.

Eligibility Details
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Essential Qualification:
- B.Tech in first division with valid GATE score OR
- M.Tech in first division at both Graduate and Post-graduate level
Research Associate (RA) Essential Qualification:
- 03 years of research, teaching or design & development experience after M.Tech with at least one research paper in SCI journal
Age Limit:
- JRF: 28 years
- RA: 35 years (Relaxable for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per GoI orders as on date of walk-in-interview).
Stipend and Tenure:
- JRF: Rs (37,000/- + HRA) per month for an initial period of two years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance.
- RA: Rs (67,000/- + HRA) per month for a maximum period of two years.

Reporting Time & Date: Candidates must report by 0845 hours on 24 Feb 2026 (Tuesday).
Interview Location: DIHAR Base Station, Near 3 BRD, Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh - 160002.
Required Documents to Bring:
- Certificates of Date of Birth (DoB) and Essential qualification in original along with a self-attested copy of each.
- Neatly typed Bio-data.
- Documents in support of preferential experience (for RA Post, if applicable).
Important Conditions
- Fellowship / Associateship is governed by DRDO, MoD, GoI policy.
- The offer does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining.
- Candidates working in Govt/PSUs must bring a No Objection Certificate (NoC) from their present employer.
- Applicants must be medically fit and willing to work in high altitude environmental conditions.
- Number of seats may increase or decrease without prior notice.
