    Eligibility Details

    Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Essential Qualification:

    • B.Tech in first division with valid GATE score OR
    • M.Tech in first division at both Graduate and Post-graduate level

    Research Associate (RA) Essential Qualification:

    • 03 years of research, teaching or design & development experience after M.Tech with at least one research paper in SCI journal

    Age Limit:

    • JRF: 28 years
    • RA: 35 years (Relaxable for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per GoI orders as on date of walk-in-interview).

    Stipend and Tenure:

    • JRF: Rs (37,000/- + HRA) per month for an initial period of two years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance.
    • RA: Rs (67,000/- + HRA) per month for a maximum period of two years.

    Reporting Time & Date: Candidates must report by 0845 hours on 24 Feb 2026 (Tuesday).

    Interview Location: DIHAR Base Station, Near 3 BRD, Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh - 160002.

    Required Documents to Bring:

    • Certificates of Date of Birth (DoB) and Essential qualification in original along with a self-attested copy of each.
    • Neatly typed Bio-data.
    • Documents in support of preferential experience (for RA Post, if applicable).

    Important Conditions

    • Fellowship / Associateship is governed by DRDO, MoD, GoI policy.
    • The offer does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.
    • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining.
    • Candidates working in Govt/PSUs must bring a No Objection Certificate (NoC) from their present employer.
    • Applicants must be medically fit and willing to work in high altitude environmental conditions.
    • Number of seats may increase or decrease without prior notice.
