Eligibility Details
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Eligible officers must meet the following criteria:
- Possessing Master's Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science/Information Technology (MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc Computer Science / IT or equivalent) from a recognized University or institute.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Electronic Data Processing / Programming and related fields.
- Service Requirements (Must satisfy either (i) or (ii) under deputation criteria):
- (i) Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre in Pay Level-10 (Pre-revised PB-3 ₹15600-39100 + GP ₹5400/-) OR
- (ii) Having 5 years regular service in Pay Level-7 (Pre-revised PB-2 ₹9300-34,800 plus GP ₹4600/-).
- Departmental candidates not in the feeder category are also eligible for deputation.
Age Limit
Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Application Details
Application Deadline: Within thirty days from the date of its publication in Employment news (Approx. 2026-03-04).
Application Method: Applications must be forwarded through the proper channel by the Parent Departments/Cadre Controlling Authorities.
Required Documents to be sent along with application form (Annexure-II):
- Photocopy of complete and up-to-date attested Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) for the last 5 years, attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent.
- Integrity Certificate.
- Details of minor or major penalties imposed during the last 10 years (mention if none were imposed).
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
Important Conditions
- The period of deputation shall be for a period of three years.
- The period of deputation in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Govt. shall not exceed 2 years immediately preceding this appointment.
- Selected officers have the option to draw either the pay of the deputation post or their own parent cadre pay plus deputation allowance, as per existing rules.
- Applications received after the last date, incomplete applications, or applications without the required supporting documents (like APARs/Vigilance clearance) will be rejected.
- Departments forwarding applications must ensure volunteers do not withdraw their names later upon selection.
