Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification
- Medical Qualification recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (I, II Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule).
- Postgraduate Degree: MD/MS or equivalent in the concerned discipline.
- For Super-Specialties: M.Ch. (surgical) or D.M. (medical) - 2, 3, or 5 years recognized course.
- Teaching/Research Experience (Varies by Post): Specific experience is mandatory, ranging from 14 years (Professor, MD/MS) down to 1 year (Assistant Professor, 3-year D.M./M.Ch. holders are exempt from experience).
Age Limit & Relaxation
- Professor/Additional Professor: Maximum 58 years.
- Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Maximum 50 years.
- Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (05 years), OBC (03 years), PwBD (10 years), and Government Servants (05 years) as per prevailing government rules.
