Pay and Allowances (for Deputation/ Short term contract basis):
- Level 14 (₹144200-218200) in the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) (Pre-revised: PB-4 *37400-67000+ GP ₹10000)
- Residential accommodation as per availability on payment of standard rent under FR45 or 10% of salary, whichever is less.
- Other allowances as admissible.

- A consolidated pay of ₹144200 plus eligible DA, per month.
Eligibility Details
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A postgraduate qualification in (MD/MS/DNB) in a medical/surgical speciality.
- Teaching and/or research experience of at least 20 years after postgraduate qualification.
- Administrative experience in the field of clinical care, medical education, medical research, or public health organisation in an educational institution belonging to Central / State Government or an autonomous institution with at least 2 years' experience as one of the following: (i) Head of an institution (ii) Medical Superintendent/Dean/Sub-Dean, (iii) Head of the Department or Unit, or (iv) another similar experience.
Note:
- Age Limit: 50-67 years (as on the closing date of receipt of application)
- Tenure: The appointment on deputation/short-term contract basis will be for 3 years or up to attaining the age of 70 years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
- Probation: One year
