Details of Position
The recruitment targets retired officers for the following positions. The number of vacancies is tentative and subject to administrative requirements.
- Superintending Engineer (Level-12): 09 Vacancies. Pay Scale: Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200/-
- Executive Engineer (Civil) (Level-11): 17 Vacancies. Pay Scale: Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700/-
- Executive Engineer (Mechanical) (Level-11): 01 Vacancy. Pay Scale: Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700/-
- Sr. Accounts Officer (Level-11): 01 Vacancy. Pay Scale: Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700/-
- Section Officer (Secretariat) (Level-7): 02 Vacancies. Pay Scale: Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400/-
Note: Monthly remuneration will be calculated based on last pay drawn minus basic pension, plus admissible allowances, or 50% of last pay drawn if no pension is drawn.
Eligibility Details
Required Experience and Qualification
Applicants must be retired officers from Central/State Government, UT Administrations, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, or Universities.
- Superintending Engineer (SE): Must have retired at Level-12 OR completed 5 years of regular service as Executive Engineer (Level-11). Requires minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Water Resources Engineering (e.g., Flood, Hydrology, Irrigation).
- Executive Engineer (Civil/Mechanical): Must have retired at Level-11 OR completed 5 years of regular service as Asst. Executive Engineer (Level-10). Requires minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Water Resources Engineering.
- Sr. Accounts Officer: Must have retired at Level-11 OR completed 5 years of regular service as Accounts Officer (Level-10). Requires minimum 3 years of experience in financial matters, Central Govt rules, accounts compilation, and CPWD system.
- Section Officer: Must have retired at Level-7 OR completed 5 years of regular service as Asst/Superintendent (Level-6). Requires minimum 3 years of experience in establishment matters and Govt rules.

- Maximum Age Limit: 62 years, calculated as on the closing date of application (22.03.2026).

Important Conditions
- The engagement is strictly on a temporary, contractual basis.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) is explicitly not admissible under any circumstances.

- No annual increments or Dearness Allowance will be applicable during the contract tenure.
- Working hours are 09:30 AM to 06:00 PM, requiring biometric attendance.
- Leave entitlement is 1.5 days per completed month (maximum 18 days annually); accumulation or encashment is not permitted.
Mode of Selection
Selection will be based on the following stages, as no written examination will be conducted:
