Eligibility Details
General Criteria:
- Age Limit: Varies by post (e.g., Deputy Director: Not more than 50 years; Asst. Director: Not more than 45 years; Sr. Scientific Officer: Not more than 40 years; Jr. Scientific Officer: Not more than 35 years; Laboratory Assistant: Not less than 18 Years and more than 27 Years). Upper age limit is relaxable for Government/University/Board/Corporation service candidates as per GoI rules.
- Laboratory Assistant (Post 8) Specific Age: Relaxable for Govt. Servants up to 40 years in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience (Summary):
- Deputy Director (Cyber Security/Defence): Ph.D. in relevant discipline OR Master's Degree + 10 years experience OR B.E./B.Tech + 12 years experience in analysis/research in the relevant field. (Ph.D. requires 7 years experience).
- Deputy Director (Forensic Psychology): Ph.D. in relevant discipline OR Master's Degree + 10 years experience in analysis/research. (Ph.D. requires 7 years experience).
- Assistant Director (NDPS): Ph.D. in relevant discipline OR Master's Degree + 7 years experience in analysis/research. (Ph.D. requires 4 years experience).
- Senior Scientific Officer (Cyber Security/Defence): Ph.D. in relevant discipline OR Master's Degree + 5 years experience OR B.E./B.Tech + 7 years experience. (Ph.D. requires 2 years experience).
- Senior Scientific Officer (NDPS): Ph.D. in relevant discipline OR Master's Degree + 5 years experience in analysis/research. (Ph.D. requires 2 years experience).
- Junior Scientific Officer (Ballistics): Master's Degree + 3 years experience in Analysis/Research in the field of Ballistics.
- Junior Scientific Officer (Forensic Accounting): Master's Degree + 3 years experience in Analysis/Research in Auditing/Forensic Accounting.
- Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in specified subjects (Forensic Science, Criminology, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Physical Anthropology, Genetics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or Pharmacy).

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- + GST & transaction charges (NON-REFUNDABLE) for Gen/EWS/OBC category. SC/ST, PwBD, and Women candidates are exempted.

Required Documents: Candidates must be prepared to produce original documents related to qualifications, category proof (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD), and experience at the time of Interview/Document Verification.
Important Conditions
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Only online applications through the Samarth Portal will be accepted; separate applications are required for multiple posts.
- The date for determining eligibility is the prescribed closing date for submission (23.03.2026).
- Experience is reckoned only from the date of acquiring the essential qualification.
- University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all posts, or withdraw the advertisement.
- Selected candidates are liable to be on probation for two years.

Mode of Selection
- Posts Sr. No. 1 to 5 (Deputy Director to SSO): Selection will be based on the overall record and performance in the Interview.
- Posts Sr. No. 6 to 8 (JSO Ballistics to Laboratory Assistant): Selection will be based on the merit of marks obtained in the Written Test and/or Skill Test.
- The University may conduct a Screening Test for short-listing candidates.
- Interviews will be conducted in Physical mode only.
