Eligibility Details
Essential Qualifications:
- Assistant Professor (CSE / ECE): PhD in relevant discipline with first class at both B.Tech/BE and M.Tech/ME.
- Assistant Professor (PAS): PhD in relevant discipline. Bachelor Degree in Physics/Engineering Physics or equivalent; Master Degree in Physics/Engineering Physics or equivalent.
- Assistant Professor (MCS): Ph.D. in relevant discipline; B.Sc./ B.S. in Mathematics / Mathematics and Computing or B. Tech. in Mathematics and Computing; M.Sc./ M.S./ M.Tech. in Mathematics /Mathematics and Computing/ Computational Mathematics or relevant discipline.
Essential Experience:
- For Assistant Professor (PAS): 03 years after Ph.D. or 06 years total teaching and research experience in a reputed academic institute / R&D Labs / relevant industry.
- For other positions, Nil experience is mentioned for those with PhD.
Desirable Requirements:
- Two Research Papers published or accepted in any of the major citation indexes (Web of Science, Scopus).
- GATE Qualified Score.
- Ongoing Research Projects.
- Patents granted.
- Present/Past Consultancy or any revenue generation activity.
- Recipient of Prestigious Awards/Fellowships.
- NPTL/SWAYAM Activities.
- Experience of Industry Collaboration.
- At least one or all Degrees from Institute of National Importance or Foreign University.
Age Criteria: Age criteria may apply as per policy.
Application Details
Deadline: The last date for receipt of the hard copy of the application is 31/10/2025 till 5.00 PM.
Method:
- Application is to be filled in a prescribed format and submitted through Google form.
- A hard copy of the duly signed application, along with all required documents, must be submitted to IIIT-Surat via Speed Post, Courier, or Register AD.
- Both Google Form submission and hard copy submission are mandatory.

Important Conditions
- The salary includes pay in the pay level as per 7th CPC, HRA, Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, DA on TA, Child Education Allowance, and NPS-Employer's Contribution.

Mode of Selection
