Details of Position

The following Non-Faculty Posts are available on a contract basis:

  • Account Officer: Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 60,000/- per month.
  • Executive Engineer (Civil/ Electrical): Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 55,000/- per month (As per Experience).
  • Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical): Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month.
  • Lab Technician (CSE/IT): Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month.
  • Lab Technician (ECE): Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month.

Eligibility Details

1. Account Officer

  • Essential: B.Com with 12 years experience OR M.Com with 8 years experience.
  • Desirable: CA/ICWA/CS; Adequate computer knowledge, especially in Tally; Familiarity with Purchase matters, GFR, PFM system, and statutory compliance; Retired officials may be preferred.
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 65 years of Age at the time of engagement.

2. Executive Engineer (Civil/Electrical)

  • Essential: First class B.E/B.Tech in relevant field with 8 years relevant experience OR First class M.E/M.Tech with 5 years relevant experience.
  • Desirable: Experience in construction/project of multi-story buildings per CPWD/PWD norms; Knowledge of CPWD manuals, estimation/drawings; Knowledge of LT/HT DG sets, substations, AC, lift, and sewerage systems; Retired official may be preferred.
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 65 years of Age at the time of engagement.

3. Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical)

  • Essential: B.E/B.Tech (Civil/Electrical) with 2 years' Experience OR Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Electrical) with 5 years' experience.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Computer applications (Word, Spreadsheet, AutoCAD, MS Project); On-site experience in supervision of civil/electrical works including contract management, Tendering, planning, budgeting, maintenance, cost control, quality control, and coordination; Knowledge of estimation and drawing interpretation.
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years of Age at the time of engagement.

4. Lab Technician (CSE/IT)

  • Essential: B.E./B.Tech (CSE/IT)/MCA or its equivalent in a relevant area OR Diploma in CSE/IT or relevant fields with three years experience.
  • Desirable: Experience in Networking, Computer Programming, MIS management, Computer hardware; Knowledge of proper functioning of lab equipment and inventory management.
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years of Age at the time of engagement.

5. Lab Technician (ECE)

  • Essential: B.E./B.Tech (ECE/EE/EEE) or its equivalent in a relevant area OR Diploma in ECE/EE/EEE or relevant fields with three years experience.
  • Desirable: Experience in Networking, Computer Programming, MIS management, Computer hardware, Communication systems, Maintenance of Electrical equipment; Knowledge of proper functioning of lab equipment and inventory management.
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years of Age at the time of engagement.

The date for determining eligibility (qualifications, experience, age) is the closing date of application.

  • Deadline: 17th November 2025 up to 5:00 PM.
  • Method: Offline (Speed Post/Registered Post). The application form must reach The Director, IIIT Sonepat, Transit Campus:- SBIT, Palri, Meerut Road, Sonepat- 131023, Haryana. The envelope must be super scribed as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ".
  • Required Documents (Self-Attested Copies): Prescribed Application Form (signed on each page), 10th Standard Certificate, 12th Standard Certificate/Diploma Certificate, Graduation Mark-Sheets for all years, Graduation Degree Certificate, Master's Degree and Mark-Sheets for all semesters (if applicable), and ID Proof.

Important Conditions

  • All claims must be supported by self-attested photocopies of documents at the time of application.
  • Original documents must be produced at the time of Test/Interview for verification.
  • Admission to all stages is purely provisional, subject to fulfilling eligibility.
  • Mere possession of minimum qualifications does not entitle a candidate to be called for Test/Interview.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending Test/Skill Test/ Interview.
