Eligibility Details
Age Limit:
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2026.
- Candidates born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive) should only apply.
- No age relaxation shall be permissible.
Educational Qualification (as on closing date of online application):
- Level - 4/5: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Level - 2/3: Passed 12th (+2 stage) OR its equivalent examination OR Pass Matriculation + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation + ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT OR Passed Matriculation + Diploma approved by Recognized Institution.
- Level - 1: Passed 10th or its equivalent examination OR ITI OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Sports Achievements:
- Achievements must be from recognized Championships conducted between 01/04/2023 and the date of notification.
- Specific norms for Level 4/5, Level 2/3, and Level 1 regarding representation in Olympic Games, World Cups, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, National Championships, etc., must be fulfilled as detailed in the notification.
- For Badminton, Table Tennis, and Tennis (Men), eligibility can also be based on current Annual All India Rankings or World Rankings depending on the Level applied for.

Important Conditions
- No relaxation in qualifying criteria or reservation to any Specific Community is provided for this recruitment (Sports Quota).
- Candidates must ensure names/dates match Matriculation records exactly; deviations can lead to cancellation.
- Selected candidates must execute a five-year Service Bond.
- The recruitment is based purely on merit determined by trials and assessment of sports achievements (60 marks) and educational qualifications (10 marks). Trials score (40 marks) must secure at least 25 marks to be considered FIT.
- Minimum qualifying marks for final recruitment based on Grade Pay are 70 (L 4/5), 65 (L 2/3), and 60 (L 1).
Mode of Selection
The selection will be based on:
- Assessment of recognized Sports Achievement as per norms (Max 50 Marks).
- Game skill, physical fitness & Coach's observations during Trials (Max 40 Marks).
- Educational Qualification (Max 10 Marks).
Candidates must be declared 'FIT' in trials (securing 25/40 marks in skill/fitness assessment) to proceed for final merit calculation.
