Eligibility Details
Applications are invited from officers of Central/State Government or organizations dealing with public works or town planning. Candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
Essential Criteria:
- Experience/Service (Any one of the following):
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; OR
- Five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment in the pay band of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/-; OR
- Ten years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment in the pay band of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600/-. (Note: Departmental candidates in feeder grade of Assistant Secretary (Technical) with 10 years service in PB Rs. 15,600-39,100/- GP Rs. 6,600/- are also eligible for consideration via promotion).
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Architecture or Town Planning or equivalent from a recognized university.
Desirable Criteria:
- Fifteen years' experience in Town Planning/ Architecture in local bodies/townships; OR
- Good knowledge of Delhi's building bye-laws; OR
- Original work done in the field of Town Planning.
Age Criteria:
- The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed fifty six years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.
- Period of deputation (including previous deputation) shall not exceed initially four years.
- The post is exempted from the rule of permanent absorption.
