Eligibility Details
The recruitment is strictly through Deputation (2nd method) for Officers under the Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory Administration. Eligibility criteria include:
- Method of Recruitment: Deputation (2nd method).
- Eligible Candidates must be:
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
- Having rendered eight years of regular service in the grade rendered thereafter in appointment thereto on regular basis in the post of Junior Secretariat Assistant in Level 2 (Rs. 19900-63200/-) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
- Ineligibility: Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration by promotion.
- Period of Deputation: Shall ordinarily not exceed three years, including any prior deputation in an ex-cadre post.
- Maximum Age Limit: Fifty-six years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
