Job Summary
The Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) is conducting recruitment for Group-C posts. The final date for the online submission of applications is 04 November, 2025, by 11:59 P.M.

Location for all stages of recruitment: Delhi/New Delhi only.
Eligibility Details
- Stenographer (Level-4):
- Essential Qualification: A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum speed of 80 wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm in typing.
- Desirable: Three years' experience as Stenographer in Univ./Govt./Autonomous Body/reputed Pvt. Firm. Experience in computer operation/Data logging.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) (Level-1):
- Essential Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.
- Desirable: (i) 10+2 or equivalent and knowledge of computer operations. (ii) Ability to read and write in English.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 27 years for Stenographer and 25 years for MTS, calculated as on the last date of application receipt.
Upper Age Limit Relaxation: Relaxable up to 05 years for employees of Central & State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/ University/Research institutes who have completed three (03) years of regular service. Relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST - 5 years, OBC - 3 years against reserved posts only) and PWD (10 years, minimum 40% benchmark disability) as per Government of India rules applies. Ex-servicemen get relaxation equal to Length of Military Service plus 3 years.
Application Details
- Application Deadline: 04 November, 2025, till 11:59 P.M.
- Application Fee (Non-refundable): Rs. 500/- for Stenographer and MTS. Rs. 250/- for SC/ST, PWD, and Women candidates. Fee must be paid through online mode.
- Method: Online application via https://www.iuac.res.in/vacancies. Hard copy is NOT to be sent.
- Required Documents for Upload: Certificates of educational qualifications (chronological order, including mark sheets), Date of Birth certificate (Municipality or Matriculation), Valid Category certificate (if applicable), Experience certificates (in proper format on letterhead, detailing duties/duration, salary breakup for private employers), Certificate of proficiency (if required), Photograph, Signature, and one valid photo ID (Aadhar-UID/Passport/PAN Card/Voter ID/Driving License).
Important Conditions
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- All posts include allowances like DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, LTC, and medical reimbursement as per IUAC Rules.
- Eligibility will be considered as on the last date of application receipt.
- The Centre reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates called for testing/interview based on qualifications/experience higher than the minimum prescribed.
- Application, once submitted, cannot be altered or resubmitted.
- Candidates in Government employment/PSUs/Autonomous Institutions must submit their application through proper channel and require a No-Objection-Certificate (NOC), vigilance clearance, and last five years' ACR/APAR at the time of document verification.
- Selected candidates must pass a medical examination.
Mode of Selection
Selection is based on performance in the following stages:
- MTS (Level-1): Written Test (Part-I: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language - 40% qualifying marks) followed by a qualifying Skill Test (Part-II) assessing MS Office Word knowledge (40% qualifying marks).
- Stenographer (Level-4): Written Test (Part-I: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language - 40% qualifying marks) followed by a qualifying Skill Test (Part-II) assessing shorthand speed (80 wpm) and typing speed (40 wpm) (40% qualifying marks).
