Eligibility Details
Qualification Requirements:
- Essential: MBBS from a recognized University, registered with MCI/NMC/State Medical Council.
- Desirable: Minimum of five years of relevant working experience in Government/ Autonomous/Private hospital setup.
Age and Other Criteria:
- Maximum Age Limit: 65 years as on 31.12.2025.
- The age limit is relaxable in exceptional cases on case-to-case basis. No engagement shall be permissible beyond 70 years under any circumstances.
- The candidate must be free from any legal proceedings/vigilance angle.
Application Details
Application Deadline (Walk-in Date): 28.01.2026 (Latest reporting time is 11:00 a.m. at the venue).
Method of Application: Walk-in-Interview. Candidates must appear in person at the venue on the scheduled date and time.
Documents Required at Interview:
- Biodata as per Annexure - A.
- Original academic certificates regarding qualification/experience.
- Original registration certificate with MCI/NMC.
- NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the present employer, if applicable.
- A set of photocopies of all the above certificates.
Documents Required at Appointment (if shortlisted):
- A letter from the government servant requesting the appointment of PTMO / AMA.
- Medical fitness Certificate.
- Address proof of the Govt. servant residing at non-CGHS area.
- Willingness certificate from the private medical practitioner to provide services within a 16 km radius.
- Prescribed declarations / undertaking as per ICAR norms.
- Undertaking or indemnity bond.
- Declaration regarding other medical practices (no conflict of interest).
- Local police verification form (in duplicate) or appointment letter from other Central Govt. Ministries/Departments.
Important Conditions
- Engagement is purely temporary and contractual for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance and requirement.
- Selected candidates cannot claim regular appointment.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- The doctor must visit the Health Centre on any 03 (three) continuous/alternate days (Mon-Fri) for 4 hours slots (09:00-13:00 hrs or 13:30-17:30 hrs) as decided by the competent authority.
- The PTMO/AMA is responsible for making their own insurance arrangements; the Institute is not responsible for personal injury or accidents during duty.
- Remuneration is subject to TDS deduction. No other allowances (DA, transport, etc.) are admissible.
- The PTMO/AMA may be called for emergent medical attention without additional remuneration.
- The engagement can be terminated by either party with one month's prior notice.
- Other service conditions are governed by Council's O.M. vide F.No.3(4)/95-Per.IV dated 03.12.2025.
Mode of Selection
Selection will be based on a Walk-in-Interview process, subject to document verification and satisfaction of the Competent Authority.
