Eligibility Details
Eligibility for Professor (General Departments)
- Essential: Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline; published work of high quality; minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals; total research score of 120 as per Appendix II, Table 2.
- Experience: Minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level; evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
Eligibility for Professor (Computer Science & Engineering)
- Essential: Ph.D. degree in relevant field; First class or equivalent at either Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, with at least 3 years at a post equivalent to Associate Professor; at least 6 research publications at Associate Professor level in SCI/UGC/AICTE journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guides as Supervisor/Co-supervisor; OR at least 10 research publications at Associate Professor level.
- Desirable: Multi-disciplinary academic background; working knowledge in Indian Knowledge System; usage of Experimental Learning Pedagogy.
Eligibility for Associate Professor
- Essential: Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines; Master's Degree with at least 55% marks.
- Experience: Minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor; minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals; total research score of 75 as per Appendix II, Table 2.
